Insurance & Trampoline Changes
Trampoline Use & Insurance Rates for gymnastics clubs across Canada have undergone some big changes this past year. We hope to minimize the impact these changes will have on our classes and our users. Here’s what to expect:
- Membership Fees are increasing for all programs.
The increase to insurance rates have resulted in GymBC increasing their membership fees for all users. We have no choice but pass these costs on. Learn more about your membership fees here.
- Regular gymnastics and trampoline classes require supervising coaches to have a minimum level of certification. Nearly all Glacier coaches meet this requirement. There will be no changes to how we use trampoline in our regular classes.
- Birthday Parties & Drop In – Insurance requirements will no longer permit trampoline use during unstructured programs, including Birthday Parties, Drop-In session, and Parkour classes. When attending these programs you can expect portions of the gym to be closed and unavailable for use.
